REVIEW: YUMMY SCRUMMY BAKERY

We finally got around to writing this review after a really long time, but we couldn't resist sharing our fantastic find while on our trip to St. Ives, Cornwall.

Yummy Scrummy Bakery is a small bakery and cafe chain that can be found in Cornwall. We visited the one on 14 Fore Street, Saint Ives, TR26 1AB, UK.

I know you may be thinking, why did they get a sandwich? What is so special about that? Well, hear us out. We didn't know what to expect when we ordered our sandwiches; the one pictured above is the tuna mayo sandwich, and what arrived exceeded our expectations. The perfectly toasted, thick slices of freshly made bread enhanced the tuna-mayo filling. This monster sandwich is served with a lovely side salad and coleslaw. This has to be one of the best sandwiches we've eaten!

We couldn't go to Cornwall without having some scones. The scones were served fresh from the oven with clotted cream and strawberry jam. The only thing we can say is that you have to try the scones from here, but be prepared to never look at the ones from the grocery store the same way again.

The pancake was as good as any other chocolate-filled pancake. Therefore, if you're looking to try something different, we recommend trying their other freshly baked goods.

Overall, the food was very good and perfect for those in the area to have lunch. The service was great, considering how busy it was. The bill was reasonable considering that it was located in the main part of St. Ives, Cornwall. Although we wouldn't go out of our way to visit this bakery and cafe, we would highly recommend visiting if you're in the area.
